New Year Workout and Recipe

Zuzana Light posted a free 100 rep workout for her 100th ZWow. Pretty good workout. It took me 13 min and 10 seconds. I combined it with the interval yoga workout I posted last week and ended with a KB routine. Good stuff. :)

Zuzka does a lot of pistol squats in this workout and I have trouble doing so many so I put a paper plate under my heel to cheat a little bit. :)

And here is a healthy breakfast or snack recipe. I made it today and it's delicious!

oats

Red
Mill
Extra
Thick
Rolled
Oats)
• ½
cup
Unsweetened
Coconut
Flakes
• ½
cup
Sliced
Almonds
• 1
teaspoon
Ground
Flax
Seed
• 2
tablespoons
Raw
Organic
Honey
• 2
tablespoons
Coconut
Oil
• 1
tablespoon
Agave
Nectar
• 1
teaspoon
Vanilla
Extract
• 1
Egg
White
• 1
teaspoon
Ground
Cinnamon
Method:
Preheat
oven
to
300
degrees.
Combine
oats,
coconut,
almonds,
and
flax
in
a
bowl.
In
a
saucepan,
combine
honey,
coconut
oil,
agave,
and
vanilla
extract
and
heat
slightly
so
the
mixture
thins.
Remove
from
heat,
add
the
egg
white
and
stir.
Pour
the
liquid
mixture
over
the
dry
mixture
and
stir
until
all
is
well
coated.
Spread
over
a
cookie
sheet
that
is
well
coated
with
non
stick
cooking
spray.
Sprinkle
with
cinnamon.
Cook
for
15
minutes,
remove
and
stir
the
granola.
Heat
and
stir
for
5
minute
intervals
until
a
light
brown
color
results.
