So each year I've posted on how to keep off the holiday weight gain.
I've got some tips for you again this year.
Here are some workout challenges for you.
From now until Dec 31st, pick one of the following to do each day to help blast away the extra calories you may be consuming!
200 Kettlebell swings
100 Burpees
Jump Rope 10 minutes
Tabata Sprints
100 Box Jumps
This does not mean you should think - ok, I'm doing a crazy workout, so I can pig out. It doesn't work that way! You cannot simply burn off what you eat (if it was that easy, no one would be fat). But these WILL help your metabolism to be elevated and therefore help to keep the weight off. Again - help keep the weight off, not necessarily lose weight. There is a difference!
On the day before and day after Thanksgiving, eat less than normal. Donate your leftovers! Do the same the day after Christmas and after New Years. For instance, I typically eat 2500 calories a day, and on a day after a feast, I eat about 1200 - so half of what I normally do.
Good luck!
