What would work better for your body?

Imagine spending the next 6 months at the gym doing exercise such as spinning, kick boxing, step classes, Body Pump, Zumba, and the like.

Now imagine you spend the next 6 months at the gym doing exercises such as push ups, pull ups, dips, shoulder presses, deadlifts, squats, and lunges.

At the end of the 6 months, what do you think would work better for your body? How would you look different at the end of the 6 months?

Seems like a no-brainer to me. Obviously performing the latter set of lifting exercises would change your body dramatically instead of doing the cardio classes.

Then WHY are so many of you wasting your time doing fluffy cardio instead of getting in the weight room and changing your body?!

PLEASE do not tell me you are still one of those women who are afraid of bulking up.
The only way women bulk up is by pigging out, not by lifting heavy weights.

Case in point, check out this picture. This woman has a phenomenal body. Do you think she got it by using the elliptical, and doing spinning and step classes? Ummm, no. She clearly has lifted heavy weights and looks fantastic!

Now I have nothing against any of those cardio classes. Plenty of people enjoy them. But it should NOT be your only source of exercise IF you are looking to tone your body. And that way you can spend less time in the gym!

What are you waiting for?
