That Time of Year Again

So the holiday season is upon us - only a few days away from probably the biggest feast you'll eat all year!
Not to mention with all the holiday parties and travel to see family it seems to be harder and harder to fit in workouts.

Short on time? Then do shorter intense workouts.

Last year I did a post on doing 200 swings a day during the holiday season. Not a bad idea to try that again.
If you find it getting difficult to fit in workouts yet you are eating more, then make it a priority to do 200 swings a day. That way you will NOT put on weight this season. And better yet - this kind of a workout will take you under 10 min, burn calories, blast fat AND help you get stronger. Stronger lungs, legs, and grip to name a few.

So why not? Have a little egg nog and then do a lot of swings.

You can mix it up - 200 straight swings with a lighter bell, or do 10 at a time with a heavier bell, or do a combo of 2 handed, 1 handed, alternating, overhead. etc.

Another one of my favorite short, but intense workouts is to see how fast you can do 100 burpees. Ouch!

Am I the only person on the planet who actually likes burpees? LOL.

And mixing burpees and swings is another terrific way to help avoid the holiday bulge. :)
