One of the best ways to burn fat is to -
Lift Heavy. Sounds counter-intuitive, right?
It's certainly the opposite of what the mainstream
fitness "gurus" preach.
But here's the deal -
When you lift heavy, your body uses the muscle
fibers that require the most amount of energy -
That's why elite level weightlifters and powerlifters
are really lean.
They Lift Heavy.
Wanna get leaner?
Stop messing around with higher reps and
Lift Heavy.
Here's an example for you -
Pick one exercise and perform heavy sets of
3 with it. And by "heavy" I mean using a weight
that you can only lift 5 or 6 times.
And do a lot of sets - somewhere between 8
and 12. Maybe even as high as 15 if you can.
This will cause your body to use energy like
mad and will result in you starting to drop
some body fat.
Some of you realllllllllly need to pick up a heavier KB. TRY IT.
