Do Diet Pills and Fat Burning Pills Really Work?

Do things like Acai, fat burners sold at GNC, caffeine cocktails, etc. work?
Hmmmm…..
NO. Some of them are out right dangerous and can cause heart problems – and worse.
Think about it, if these pills really and truly worked NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE would be overweight!
Weight loss and fitness does not come in a pill. Period.
The only supplement s I would ever recommend is Juice Plus (which I will take this for the rest of my life) and a good Omega 3. That’s it.
Don’t waste your money on these gimmicks. You would be better off spending your money on yoga classes, gym memberships, fitness DVD’s and/or some healthy organic food.
Remember, as I have said before, diet has far more to do with how much you weigh than anything else does. A pill ain’t gonna do it. Educate yourself about nutrition (I am helping you with my blog)!
Exercise is better for jump starting your metabolism, helping you tone your body, and helps you from putting on any more weight.

Here is another great summer time recipe:

One Ezekiel* English Muffin toasted
Spread on guacamole & hummus
One slice tomato
Some goat cheese

And you’re done!

* Ezekiel is one of my greatest finds ever. It is bread you can feel good about. It is made from sprouted grains, not refined or enriched, and from sprouted legumes. It is flourless!!! Gluten free, a complete protein, and organic.
They make English Muffins, cinnamon raisin bread, wraps, cereal and more. And it does not taste all that different from regular bread. You can find it in the freezer section of Whole Foods, and sometimes in Trader Joe’s.
