Delicious recipes

OK, so Thanksgiving week is here, but leave the pigging out for Thanksgiving day itself - not all week long!

Here are some tasty recipes to keep you on track. They are great recipes to share with family on Thanksgiving - and your waist line will give thanks too.

Mashed Sweet Potatoes
Sweet Potatoes - cooked in oven, remove skin
1 TBS coconut oil
1 Tsp cinnamon
Blend with egg beater until smooth

That's it. You can add more coconut oil and cinnamon depending on how much of the potatoes you make.

Bursting with Berries Almond Cake
1 1/2 cups almond flour
2 tsp baking powder
pinch nutmeg

1/2 cup crunchy almond butter
1 cup ripe mashed bananas
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
zest from one orange

1 container raspberries
1 container blueberries

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
combine dry ingredients
combine wet ingredients
add together
stir in berries – gently
spray brownie pan with Pam
Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.

Eat 'em up!
