HOW TO BURN 300-500 EXTRA CALORIES WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING EXTRA

First of all, let me ask you – how much time do you waste each day in front of the TV?
As far as time goes, that is one of the biggest wasters.

I know someone who HAS to watch "his show" every night. Harmless entertainment? Perhaps. I am not telling you to never watch TV. I like TV, but do you really need to watch that re-run – again? At least during every commercial get up and walk the stairs in your house, do some push-ups, jumping jacks, something - anything.

What about chatting on the phone? If you did it for a living, I promise you, you would get quite good at being short and sweet in most cases. How many times have you told the same story to different people? If you must talk on the phone for endless time periods, then climb the stairs in your house as you chat. No stairs? By a step from a fitness store and use that (you can get one for a measly $25)!

Here are a few simple suggestions that will help you BLAST calories each and every day:

I recommend using the stairs ALL the time. Use them instead of elevators every chance you get. That adds very little time to your day and can burn extra calories.
It amazes me how many people use an elevator to go ONE flight of stairs. Seriously?! Talk about lazy!

Park your car a block away if it's safe. A block from work, the store, the mall, the pharmacy, etc, you get the idea. Get the farthest parking spot from any place you go so you have to walk extra steps each day.

Go down to your local sporting goods store (or even Walmart) and buy a 10 pound weight belt. Wear it everywhere during the day. This can really help melt fat and calories off your body. No joke!

These three things alone can trim 300 to 500 calories a day from your waistline.

That is between 3 and 5 pounds a month and more than 20 pounds by bathing suit season!

Now this does not mean you should pig out more. Remember - exercise is not an excuse to eat. If that worked, so many more of us would be thin.
